THE LITERARY RENAISSANCE

I love the ambiance where people including children, adults and the old are reading books.
BOOKS! Yeah those compiled leather-bound pages in which the words of wisdom and language full of emotions are pen down. To some people these books are not only their source of inspiration but their best friends too, for whom they develop a deep sense of awe and respect. It's the positive reflection of the people's interests and aspirations that they are imbued with a revolutionary ardour for books. However, most positive response has been received from the online books' websites as they are an easy access for the people. Well, still the people have shown at least a significant fervour and there is a marked increase in the readership too. Sadly, the pirated books are sold in the shop like hot-cakes. This is quite distressing for the publishing companies and the writers as it results in low value felt for the intellectual labour and the creative notions of the writers as well as the poets. That pirated books should not become the bread and butter of the shops, libraries should be encouraged and the publishers should cut down the prices of the original hard-cover or paper-backs books down to a minimal level. In this way, the number of avid readers will increase as everybody can easily purchase books and even go to libraries to amuse themselves with the novelty and royalty of the "special" message their chosen book is going to offer!

Misuse of Grades

Assessing the Students

Presently, the system of being graded in schools and other educational institutions is a pressing issue. Grades!  What do they mean to the teachers, the parents and to students?  These grades are used by the teachers only as a means to develop several strata among the students. Consequently, the weaker students recognise themselves as duffers and their confidence is shattered too. It gives birth to favouritism and ruin the personalities and the cognitive capabilities of students.

Research shows that a child may learn more if he is not under the pressure of being graded or classified. This may provide him an access to exploit his inner talents and abilities which might be inherent or in-born. Just assessing a student on the basis of a three hours exam along with the consideration of the mood and the personal criteria of a mere teacher is similar to invite prejudice and unsolicited envy among the pupils. So kindly its my humble request to stop the undue pressure and stress being imposed over the children by giving unnecessary grades. Parents should ponder over this issue and pull out their children from this dilemma of grades. Then they will be able to utilise their talents and would have a better insight. Similarly, even in the rote- recall children don't do well as they are over-burdened and tensed.

The teachers should supervise the children but shouldn't impose their will as it would ruin their own fruitful imagination! The ever-damaging grade system should be abolished instead the spirit and interest of exploring the skills, doing experiments, practical work and research work should be revived and stimulated in the young minds. Hope this would be considered as the brought up and teaching done in childhood affect the personality and decisions to be made in the future, alike. Lets secure the future of our youth!

self-accountability!

Strive and the Change is IneVitaBle...!

It's true that we all need sincere leaders to guide us but first we have to reform our own selves ...
Otherwise its all in vain. (Sadly speaking) we have regressed as a society of morals and ethics and are no different than the the people of Jahiliya period (period of ignorance) but the only difference is that their reason was ignorance and our's is obstinance! revive the glorious and remarkable characters of our legends and heroes and the strong personality that they asserted....

Assess yourselves... are we not those who are least cared about our neighbours and are unfair in our dealings as well?  It would be not wrong if we are characterized as selfish, corrupt, dishonest, lazy and luxurious.“Peace comes from within.  Do not seek it without.” ― anonymous

This is the only reason of our downfall that we don't realize our mistakes and just blame others.
So in my view self-accountability is the first step towards success
“Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.” - Charles R. Swindoll

We dictate our lives through the choices we make and the way we react to those choices. So empower your choices with devotion and hard work!
